I work with foundations, universities, and research institutions on questions of research system design, funding mechanisms, and institutional strategy. I maintain a continuously updated mapping of the global metascience ecosystem and write primers on the concepts and mechanisms that matter for anyone trying to understand or reform how research is organised.

Research and mapping

Landscape analyses, literature syntheses, and comparative frameworks on funding models, institutional forms, and research governance.

Advisory and strategy

Programme design, institutional positioning, and strategy, from a one-off conversation to sustained engagement. Particular focus on foundations and what the experimental agenda in research funding requires.

Writing and communication

Op-eds, reports, briefings, and primers in Danish and English, for specialist and public audiences.

Speaking and facilitation

Talks, panels, and workshops for foundations, universities, and research agencies on the research system, institutional design, and the metascience evidence base.
